Welcome to the Taiwan Celts, the Home of Gaelic Sports in Taiwan The Taiwan Celts is a Gaelic Football Club, founded back in 1996 by a number of Irish immigrants living on the beautiful Island of Isla Formosa, a.k.a. Taiwan. Since those early days, the Club membership has expanded to include a host of other Nationalities residing in Taiwan, and with many different sporting, as well as non-sporting, backgrounds. We have both Mens and Ladies teams who regularly get together to train and partricipate in friendly and competitive tournaments throughout Asia, all in preparation for the main even of the Year... the Asian Gaelic Games which hosts Gaelic teams from all over Asia for one of the best weekends of sports and fun you're likely to find anywhere. We have a number of seasoned Gaelic players from Ireland as well as members from a whole host of other sporting backgrounds, from Aussie Rules to Table Tennis and everything in between! If you're new to Gaelic Football we have regular training sessions where our trainers will introduce the basic skills and rules of the game  
A Drinking Club with a Sports Problem! After all the training, games and tournaments, the Taiwan Celts is also a socal club at heart and there are plenty of non-football related events throughout the year to keep our members fully entertainined. There's always a few other sporting activities going on such as hurling, soccer, rugby, biking in the hills around Taipei, and we've even picked up a few surfers in our group! There's also no shortage of parties, BBQ's, beach excursions, not to mention our legendary Celt's events such as Table Quiz, Sumo wrestling, Hot Dog Eating Championship, Pub Olympics, Paint Balling and plently more... We are always welcoming new members into the group, so whether you're new to Gaelic Football or new to Taiwan,the Taiwan Celts would like to hear from you.
